About Neodymium Bar Magnets
Bar magnet - a magnet that is shaped in the form of a bar that attracts iron and produces a magnetic field. A bar magnet is rectangular in form where the width and thickness are shorter than its length. The magnetic poles & strengths vary & are individual magnet specific. Neodymium bar magnets are the strongest permanent bar magnets produced & even then vary in strength by grade.
Our strong Neodymium Bar Magnets are available, with the length from 1/8" up to 8". The Rare Earth Bar Magnets are available in grades N35, N40, N42, N45, N48, N50 & N52. The pull forces of these strong bar magnets are from 0.36 LB up to 600 LBs.
All manufacturing tolerances are +/- .002” on all dimensions. Maximum Operating Temperatures vary by Grade (see individual products)
These Strong Bar Magnets have Residual Magnetic Flux Density from 11,500 Gauss to 14,400 Gauss ( or 1.15 Tesla to 1.44 Tesla ). The coatings include Ni+Cu+Ni triple layer coating, epoxy & plastic-encased.
