Carbon steel tank
1. Function
A tank is a liquid storage container.
These tanks typically store water for human consumption.
Tanks are used to store drinking water, irrigated agriculture, fire fighting, agriculture and livestock farming, chemical manufacturing, food preparation, and many other possible solutions.
2. Materials
Various materials are used to make the water tank:
Plastic (polyethylene, polypropylene), fiberglass, steel (welded or bolted, carbon or stainless steel).
3. Design parameters
Tank application parameters include the overall design of the tank, materials of construction, and the following.
① Location of the tank (indoor, outdoor, above or below ground)
②The capacity of the water tank needs to be maintained
③ What will the water be used for?
④The temperature of the area where the water will be stored, worry about freezing.
⑤ Pressure requirements
⑥ How to deliver water into and out of the tank.
⑦Wind and seismic design considerations enable the tank to withstand seismic and high wind events.
