PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
As-Coat Marine Adhesive is a one component polyurethane adhesive. It cures with the help of moisture in the environment and the surface to be bonded.
FEATURES
It is easy to apply.
It has high adhesion strength.
It is resistant to water and chemicals (D4-DIN EN204).
It does not lose its strength at low and high temperatures.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Bonding of wooden materials to each other and many materials such as metal, concrete, polystyrene foam. In furniture and yacht manufacturing, in bonding works that require water resistance.
USAGE
Do not use at temperatures below 0 ° C. The parts to be bonded must be cleaned, free from dust and oil. At least one of the surfaces must be porous for strong adhesion. Slightly moistening the surfaces before application will increase the adhesion performance. The adhesive should be applied on one or both surfaces in a thin layer and pressed within 15 minutes. It should stay in the press for at least 2 hours. Freshly applied adhesive can be cleaned with acetone. At the end of the process, the packaging must be tightly closed.
SHELF LIFE
It is 12 months if stored in its original unopened package under suitable conditions.
SECURITY
Contains Diphenylmethane-4.4 di-isocyanate. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin. May be harmful if inhaled. It should be used in adequately ventilated environments. Wear protective clothing and gloves while working. It must be kept away from children.
