Calcined Petroleum Coke

Usually in the calcining temperature of 1300 ℃ or so, the purpose is to volatile petroleum coke to remove as much as possible.This can reduce the hydrogen content of petroleum coke reprocessed products and increase the graphitization degree of petroleum coke, so as to improve the high-temperature strength and heat resistance of graphite electrode and improve the conductivity of graphite electrode.It is mainly used for producing graphite electrode, carbon paste, emery sand, food grade phosphorous industry, metallurgy industry and calcium carbide, among which graphite electrode is the most widely used.The raw coke can be directly used as calcium carbide raw material without forging and burning to produce silicon carbide and boron carbide as abrasive materials.It can also be directly used as coke or wall lining of blast furnace for metallurgical industry, or as compact coke for casting process.
