Scientific name: Bis(2-ethylhexyl)benzene-1,4-dicarboxylate

Molecular weight: 390.55
DOTP doesn’t contain phthalate, including 16P, reported by SGS. It can replace DOP as a new type of plasticizer, DOTP can replace DOP with a good physical property and machanical property. This product has such properties excellent electric strength, resist heat, low volatility. The manufactuer can safe the cost when they use DOTP substitute for DOP as raw material of PVC products.

DOTP, a new type of plasticizer for PVC products, can reply DOP, and have better electric strength and resist cold, it is suitable for cable and wire, gland strip for the car, freezer, door and window aslo, DOTP has used in PVC leather, PVC floor, pipe and so on.

DOTP could be used as the main plasticizer for PVC product manufacture. Good heat and electrical property make it an ideal
plasticizer in PVC cable sheat and artificial leather manufacture. In addition, DOTP has excellent intermiscibility and could be used in
acrylonitrile derivatives, polyvinyl butyral, chemigum, nitrocellulose to improve product morphotropy. DOTP shows great plasticizing
efficiency and low volatility in cable sheat materials thus it is widely used in heat resistance and high insulation products. DOTP is an
ideal plasticizer for 70℃ cable sheat and other volatility resistance products. DOTP could b used in furniture and decoration paint,
coating, lubricating oil or lubricating oil additive for precise instruments, nitrocellulose varnish agent, paper softener, polyesteramide
film, plastic artifact and blood bag.
