FC Exterior and Interior Flooring has a flat surface with a tongue and grooved joint to the two long edges of the sheet. These edges are coloured Red ,Blue or Black for easy identification.  FC Exterior and Interior flooring is sealed on all sides with an advanced polymer coating that helps protect the board from moisture-related problems. A topcoat on the surface of the board provides good adhesion. The continuous mesh reinforcement on the underside of FC Exterior Flooring enhances the heavy-duty performance of Fiber Cement flooring, adding extra strength and impact resistance to deliver a durable and suitable external residential flooring substrate. FC Exterior flooring can be up to 40% faster to install than conventional compressed fibre cement sheet. This is because is about 24% lower in density than compressed fibre cemen,making it lighter, and easier to handle and install, without compromising heavy-duty performance. It's tongue and grooved, which delivers engineered joints and eliminates the need for timber trimmers under these joints. FC Exterior Flooring sheet can be installed with power driven nails for ease of installation. FC Exterior Flooring conforms to the requirements of AS2908.2: Cellulose-cement products, Part 2: Flat sheets for Type A Category 3. For balconies over habitable rooms, a waterproofing system needs to be applied. FC Exterior Flooring may be installed to timber or steel floor joists at 450mm maximum spacings in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards.
