Galvanized steel pipe has strong corrosion resistance and long service life. Galvanized steel pipes are divided into cold galvanized steel pipes and hot galvanized steel pipes. Cold galvanized steel pipes have been banned, and the latter has been advocated by the state to be used temporarily. Galvanized pipes are widely used, not only as pipelines for conveying water, gas, oil and other general low-pressure fluids, but also as oil well pipes and oil pipelines in petroleum industry, especially in offshore oil fields, oil heaters, condensation coolers for chemical coking equipment, pipes for coal distillation and washing oil exchangers, and pipes for trestle pipe piles and supporting frames for mine tunnels. Hot-dip galvanized steel pipes are widely used in fire fighting, electric power and expressway.
