Methyl Cyclohexane is an organic compound with the chemical formula C7H14. It is a colorless and transparent liquid, insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone, benzene, petroleum ether, carbon tetrachloride, etc. It is mainly used as a solvent, Chromatographic analysis of reference materials and as a standard for calibrating thermometers, also used in organic synthesis.
