Because the difference between the diameter of diamond bit and the outer diameter of core tube is very small, the gap between hole wall and core tube is narrower, the water flow is blocked, and it is easy to cause sticking. The diamond reamer is a short cylindrical tube. The upper and lower steel bodies are respectively connected with the drill bit and the core tube with screw threads. The middle part is a matrix covered with superhard material containing diamond, and its outer diameter is slightly larger than the diameter of the diamond drill bit (about 0.5mm to 2mm). There is a water channel on the side surface of the matrix to make the water flow through.
