Jaw crusher is mainly applied for primary, medium, and fine crushing various kinds of ores and lump materials with max compression strength of no more than 320Mpa in industries of metallurgy, mining, chemical, construction, highway, railway, waterworks, and so on. The max compression strength of the materials that will be crushed could be 2000kg/cm².
The vertical link rod moves up and down after the eccentric shaft is driven to rotate via the motor which drives the flywheel through V-belt. With the upward moving of vertical link rod, the 2 toggle plates will stretch to level, which will push the movable jaw plate to the fixed jaw plate. The ores in the cavity will be crushed by the squeeze and splitting force. The toggle plate and movable jaw plate move backward by making use of the force of spring and pull rod when the link rod moves downward. Then the discharging port enlarges and the crushed products will be discharged. It is the discontinuous crushing working process as there is only half circle for crushing and half circle for discharging in every rotation circle of the eccentric shaft.
