Round disc feeder is a kind of material discharging machine below hopper. While bearing material pressure in hopper, the machine can operate stably and reliably. Meanwhile, feeding volume can be easily adjusted, and the discharging mouth of hopper is large. So, this machine is suitably used in machinery, metal-working, coal, building material, chemical, and many other kinds of industries to handle grain or small lump materials with middle flowability. Generally, density of handling material can’t exceed 2500 kg/m3. While handling materials with strong abrasion, 45Mn2 liner or cast-stone plate may be added on round pan.
Main body of round disc feeder is a round pan that rotates around the vertical axial line. In the middle part of round pan, a worm sleeve that connected with outlet of hopper is used. The materials will be output from the outlet of sleeve, and scraped down from the round pan by the scratch board. Feeding capacity of machine can be adjusted by adjusting the opening size of shut-off plate on outlet and the position of scratch board.
