Properties
Slightly foul odour and bitter taste,specific gravity:1.42-1.52,nonpoisonous.Easily soluble in ethylacetate,
acetate,acetone,dilute solution of sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate,soluble in ethl alcohol,not easily
siluble in benzene,insolube in water and gasoline,stable in storage.
Application
Fast accelerator used in a wide range of general purpose rubbers such as NR,IR,SBR,NBR,EPDM,IIR.Give flat cure.Low temperature curing can be achieved.Non-staining/non-discoloring in white or light-colored stocks;Mainly used in manufacture of tire,belts,tubes,shoes and other technical rubber goods.MBT confers excellent aging characteristics to vulcanization.Because of the bitter taste,this product is not recommended to be applied in rubber products nenected with beverage and fodd.
