Clinical samples were collected and immersed in preservation solution in a single-use virus sampling tube. The main components of the preservation solution are protein denaturant and nuclease inhibitor, so it can make the virus inactive, fix viral RNA at the same time, prevent degradation, and do not affect the integrity of viral nucleic acid. This is beneficial to the subsequent sample of viral nucleic acid extraction analysis, but is not suitable for isolation and culture.
Applicable sample types: throat swab, nasopharyngeal swab, saliva, sputum and other clinical samples. Storage and delivery of samples: Please pay attention to the storage period during use. Specimens shall be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 4 days after collection, and the storage temperature shall be 2-8℃; If not delivered to the laboratory within 4 days, should be stored at -80℃ or below. Specimens should avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
