Step 1: Positioning
Move the ruler to select the cutting size, hold the operating handle with one hand, pull the knife wheel position to the rear seat, lay the ceramic tile flat on the bottom plate and align the cutting line of the ceramic tile with the bottom plate beam, and the front end of the ceramic tile should rest against the notch of the bottom plate.
Step 2: Marking
Put down the handle to make the cutter wheel contact with the ceramic tile surface, and push the handle forward slightly to make the cutter wheel cut a continuous and uniform straight line on the ceramic tile surface.
Step 3: press down
Lift the operating handle and pull it back slightly to make the pressing block fall on the front of the ceramic tile smoothly. Press down the operating handle with appropriate force, and the tile will break along the line.
Whether the marking is uniform, continuous and clear from beginning to end, and whether the tiles can be cut well is the key. The cutter wheel is made of special superhard alloy, and its hardness is far greater than that of the ceramic tile surface. Therefore, generally speaking, as long as you hold the handle with a small force and gently and smoothly push the knife wheel, you can draw a cutting line on the surface of the ceramic tile. In the process of cutting the ceramic tile, as long as the force is not on the line, this is the same as breaking the glass. Excessive force will not only make the cutting line become serrated, but also make the ultra-hard alloy yellow blade of the cutter wheel collapse, greatly shortening the normal service life of the cutter wheel.
Check whether the cutting is neat with infrared ray.
