Caffeic Acid
Caffeic acid in the form of chlorogenic acid in coffee and other plants, is a phenolic acid. It can be used safely in cosmetics, has a wide range of antibacterial and antiviral activities, can absorb ultraviolet rays, and has the effect of inhibiting the formation of skin melanin in low concentration. The dosage in whitening cosmetics is 0.5-2%. It can be used as an assistant of oxidation type hair dyes, which is beneficial to enhance the strength of color.
Function:
1. Natural antioxidant, inhibit the activity of protein kinase and tyrosine kinase, inhibit lipid peroxidation;
2. Whitening sunscreen has strong absorption for ultraviolet light, with absorption wavelengths of 243nm and 326nm;
3. Hemostasis has better hemostasis effect on viscera and less toxicity;
4. It has a wide range of antibacterial and antiviral activities, and has a stronger effect in vitro;
5. Low concentration can inhibit collagenase activity and prevent caries.
