1. Introduction of Fluid bed dryer:
Fluid bed dryer is a kind of equipment used extensively in the pharmaceutical industries to reduce the moisture content of pharmaceutical powder and granules. The equipment works on a principle of fluidization of the feed materials. In fluidization process, hot air is introduced at high pressure through a air filtration system. The wet solids are lifted from the bottom and suspended in a stream of air (fluidized state). Heat transfer is accomplished by direct contact between the wet solid and hot gases. The vaporised liquid is carried away by the drying gasses. Sometimes to save energy, the exit gas is partially recycled.

3. Working principle of Fluid bed dryer:
1.The FG series  Fluid Bed Drye is composed of main machine (processor), air handling unit(AHU), heating and control systems. When operating, charge the materials into the Bowl, set the procedure and parameters according to process requirements
2.Start the processor.The inlet air is filtered by the air handling unit(AHU)and heated by the heating system

3.The processed air enters the processor to blow up materials into fluidization condition. Materials are apace dried and moisture rapidly vaporized.

4.When the operation has been finished; Move out the Bowl to lock with pharma Lifter for FBD/FBG Bowl for lifting and discharging the produced granules.

5.During the whole process, powder dust and cross pollution are effectively controlled.

4. Features of Fluid bed dryer:

* The structure of fluidized bed is round so as to avoid dead corner.

* Inside of the hopper there is a stirrer in order to avoid agglomeration of raw materials and forming flow.

* The granules is discharged through the method of turning over. In this way it is very convenient and full.

* It is operated at the conditions of negative pressure and seal. The air is filtered. Therefore it is simple in operation and convenient in clean. It is an ideal equipment that is in conformity with the requirement of GMP.

* The drying speed is fast and the temperature is uniform. In general, the drying time is 15-45 minutes for each batch
