1. General description of Double Cone Rotating Vacuum Dryer

SZG Series Double Cone Vacuum Dryer is a new generation drying device developed by our factory on the basis of combining the technology of same products. It has two connecting ways, i.e. Pulley or chain. Therefore it is stable in operation. The special design guarantees two shafts realize good concentricity. Heat medium and vacuum system all adapt reliable machinery seal or rotating joint made from abroad. On the basis, we also developed SZG-A. It can carry out steeples speed change and constant temperature control.As a special factory in drying industry, we provide hundreds of set to customers for their use. As for working medium, it may be high temperature conduction heat oil or middle temperature steam. For drying the adhesive raw material, the factory has designed specially a stirring plate for you.

Note: In the flow chart, the heating source is hot water. The heating source also can be steam or thermal oil.  The condenser in the flow chart is for recovery of organic solvent. If the solvent is water, the condensate will be not needed.

2. Application of Double Cone Rotating Vacuum Dryer

The equipment is suitable for vacuum mixing and drying powder and granules materials in pharmaceutical, food and chemical industry. For example: Thermal sensitive materials, the materials that is easy to oxidize, the materials that has solvent to recover, and the materials that needs very low moisture content, etc.

3. Features of Double Cone Rotating Vacuum Dryer

1. heat source pass through the sealed jacket

2. the heat will be transmitted to the raw material to be dried through inner shell

3. under driving of power, the tank is rotated slowly and the raw material inside it is mixed continuously. then the purpose of reinforced drying can realized

4. the material is at a vacuum state, the drop of steam pressure makes the moisture at the surface of raw material become saturation and will evaporate

5. the solvent will be discharged through vacuum pump

6. the inner moisture of raw material will infiltrate, evaporate and discharge continuously. these three processes are carried continuously and the purpose of drying can be realized within a short time
