Description of PDC Cutters
PDC (Polycrystalline Diamond Compact) Cutter consists of two parts: polycrystalline diamond layer and tungsten carbide (WC) base. It is a super hard product made by sintering super hard composite material under special high temperature and high pressure.
This product has the feature of good wear-resistance, impact resistance and good thermal stability. It is suitable for making petroleum drill bits, Water-Well-Drilling bits, coal mine drill bits and cutters.
The HNI-IR type PDC cutters provided by the company have good impact resistance. Can be used on the middle soft bottom layer as well as the auxiliary or gauge teeth. Our standard PDC product is of cylindrical form, other forms of these cutters can be made according to customers specific requests.
Before leaving the factory, the appearance size, chamfering Angle and joint surface of the all PDC cutters are tested. Several pieces were randomly selected from each batch for wear resistance and impact resistance testing.
