Automobile mold design is to manufacture 3D auto parts products by various processes. The process is divided into the following steps.
Accept the mold design task and analyze the product.
The customer will have 3D and 2D drawings of the product and will know if sliders, slant tops or other special mechanisms are required. Product technology, dimensional accuracy and other technical requirements. Understand product material, mold cavity number, machine tool tonnage used in production.
Second, do CAE analysis
Start to do CAE, determine the product parting line position; Analyze whether the drawing Angle is enough, whether to increase the drawing Angle; Analysis of product thickness change; Determine the inscription, date stamp location and other information; The position of the locator is preliminarily indicated; Determine process content and number. Finally, all contents are determined with the customer.
Start mold drawing design
Combined with the product 3D and CAE analysis, do parting surface, separate the convex and concave die; According to customer requirements, design mold base, power components, guide parts, ejection system; Adjust important dimensional tolerances, parts lettering, die lettering, etc.
Iv Design Review
After completing 3D mold design drawing, conduct preliminary internal review, follow the new mold drawing according to the review result, and then review with the customer. Modify mold drawing according to customer review result. Follow up customer comments until the modification is in place and customer is satisfied.
Five order material
After the mold design drawing is approved by the customer, issue BOM, order materials, standard parts, spare parts, etc to the purchasing department
Six 2D processing drawings
Make 2D machining drawing, parts machining drawing, assembly drawing and submit to production and assembly department.
