Hecin Scientific, Inc. was established in 2015. Located in the industry-university-research base of the State Key Laboratory of Respiratory Diseases in Guangzhou with an R&D space of 5000m2, Hecin is a key member of the industry-university-research platform of National Clinical Research Center for Respiratory Disease and is dedicated to the development and industrialization of diagnostic reagents for respiratory infectious diseases. Nowadays, Hecin has developed 4 major technology platforms, where 9 products have acquired Chinese official NMPA approvals. We also retain our own P2 laboratory and a systematic resource library of respiratory infection related pathogens. Products and Perspectives Hecin has been focusing on providing a multi-method solution for respiratory infection detection. So far, Hecin has developed 4 major technology platforms, including multiplex real-time PCR, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence and lateral immunochromatography (POCT). For each platform, we have built up mature research teams as well as raw material production lines. The 9 of real-time PCR assay kits for respiratory pathogens, namely adenovirus, respiratory syncytial virus, parainfluenza virus type 1, parainfluenza virus type 3, human Boca virus, mycoplasma pneumoniae, enterovirus and enterovirus type 71, coxsackie virus type A16, have acquired Chinese official NMPA approvals. Another 26 products from different platforms are also on the roll. Technique Excellency 1.We have set up the largest resource library of respiratory infection related pathogens among China's enterprises. The collection has included 204 virus strains, 67 bacterial strains, 10 fungal strains, 49 cell lines and 58 monoclonal antibody expressing hybridoma strains, and is still expanding. 2.We have built up our own P2 laboratory and a professional technical team for virus isolation and culture. The team's exclusive virus isolation, culture and identification system has been recognized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and experts. Hecin was thus invited to cooperate with the Chinese People's Procuratorate to develop national reference products for diagnostic reagents for respiratory infectious viruses, leading the industry rules. 3.We have a professional R&D team for diagnostic reagents and raw materials, which can independently supply most of the raw materials for our products. Our technology has obtained 12 invention patents related to the detection of respiratory infectious viruses, including 2 invention patent licenses and 2 utility model licenses.
