Lanzhou Electric Corporation (formerly called Lanzhou Electric Manufactory, hereinafter referred to as LEC) was founded in October 1958, which is the backbone enterprise of electric machinery manufacturing in northwest China, appointed by National Machinery Ministry. LEC is mainly engaged in developing, researching and manufacturing medium/large-sized motors, small /medium-sized generators, special motors, servo motors, new energy equipment motors and intelligent manufacturing equipment, including motor maintenance and remanufacturing industry. Meanwhile, LEC also devotes to providing customers with motor system solutions. The company has more than 1100 sets of processing, testing and testing equipment, the CNC rate of the main equipment is up to 86%. With advanced CNC machining center, most of key motor manufacturing processes such as punching, welding, coil manufacturing, impregnation and testing have achieved completely intelligent purpose. With an annual comprehensive production capacity of 6 million kilowatts, the products are widely used in the fields of electric power, water conservancy, building materials, metallurgy, mining, petrochemical, urban infrastructure construction, weapons and equipment. The products made in LEC enjoy a good reputation in China and are exported to 26 countries and regions in five continents. In 1994, the company's technology center was awarded the title of "enterprise technology center" by the state. At present, LEC has provincial Enterprise Technology Center, Engineering Technology Research Center and Industrial Design Center". LEC has already won the title of "National First-class Measurement Unit", and owns the "Energy Efficiency Testing Laboratory" and the provincial "Quality Supervision & Inspection Station" recognized by China Energy Efficiency Labeling Center.
