The Allegro platform, founded in 1999, mainly targets the Central and Eastern European markets. Its brand recognition in Poland is as high as 98%. It is known as Poland's "national" shopping website and is also one of the largest e-commerce platforms established in Europe.


Allegro is to Poland what Taobao is to China. In March 2022, Allegro's monthly real user visits were 22.03 million, ranking first (data includes mobile and PC), with an average visit time of 1 hour and 45 minutes, accounting for 73.49% of the total number of Polish Internet users.
